The Mirage Alexandra Headland is a luxury resort oasis of tranquillity in the heart of the Sunshine Coast. This Sunshine Coast accommodation offers the perfect family holiday with its resort facilities and prime location.

With the choice of one, two or three bedroom fully self-contained apartments, all are spacious Mediterranean Resort style apartments furnished and decorated in a casual but elegant style. Resort facilities at The Mirage Alexandra Headland include a full-size tennis court, well-equipped gymnasium, sauna, lagoon and lap pools, children's pool with waterfall and separate spa pool, all heated.

The Mirage Alexandra Headland is only a few minutes away from Alexandra Headland's famous surfing beach and surf club, an excellent selection of restaurants, alfresco dining and boutique shopping.

Getting There

Located one hour's drive north of Brisbane taking the Maroochydore exit (70) off the Bruce Highway. Take the Maroochydore/Buderim exit off the Sunshine Coast Motorway (70), turn right at the top of exit into Buderim Avenue. Turn left into Alexandra Parade. Alex Surf Club is the only building on your right (approximately 500 metres), take the very next left into Mari Street. Mari Street is opposite the Alex Surf Club. For those coming from the North refer to UBD (2003 edition) reference, map 70 B19.

Most apartments can accommodate one (1) extra person on a fold-out sofa bed at a cost of $20.00 per person per night.

Children are welcome and there is private child minding and babysitting available. There is also a children's playground.

Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartments are more spacious than most. Enjoy full kitchen, large living, east facing balcony and separate laundry. Relax in our heated lagoon pool, lap pool, spa sauna, gym and tennis court. 50 to Alex Beach or stroll on to Mooloolaba.

Bedding configuration is 1 Queen bed and 2 Single beds. Maximum occupancy is 5 guests.

2 Bedroom Premier Apartment
Stunning, spacious apartment on our top level. Guaranteed Ocean Views and access to a private rooftop BBQ area. Perfect for that private get together for family, friends or small meeting group. 50m to Alex Beach or stroll on to Mooloolaba.

I paid $7 extra for a roll away for 2 nights, and it was left in the room wiht the sheets and pillow on top. It was not made up. I go away for a holiday! not to make up beds. Otherwise it was a good stay.

Overall the property was great. The apartment was clean, spacious, and well equipped. More room to store our food in cupboards would have been welcome.

No ocean view as stated on website, however it was close enough to hear ocean, and enjoyed views of parklands. Loved the quiet off main street ambience, pool was great for the kids. 2 min walk to beach, and close to all shops.

Liked: Peace, open space of 2brm apt. balcony and no mozzies.
Disliked: Rooms were not cleaned properly, we found broken glass under dishwasher, lollie papers under bed etc. Toilet was a little smelly when we arrived. Apartment in general could have been cleaner.

We enjoyed our stay, and the apartment was lovely, but we were very dissapointed that we did not have an ocean view - the website said \"ocean facing balcony\", which tricked us into believing we would have a view - wrong! Also the pool was tiny and easily over-crowded.

Apartment was lovely and spacious, but we were dissapointed that there was no ocean view. We were conned by the "ocean facing balconies" statement on the website. Yes, the balconies face the ocean, but you can't actually see the water! Also pool is tiny and easily over-crowded; and our 1 bd room only had a small ensuite available rather than a full bathroom.

Very comfortable and well located.

However, was oversold on the website - the photos made it look better than it really was, and created the impression of a huge swimming pool around the resort (which turned out to be a duck pond). Also, we were assured by management when we phoned that the pool would be very warm - unfortunately it wasn\'t as warm as we would have liked.

We really got value for money here... my wife and I and our two teenage children stayed here for a week during September and really enjoyed it. There were numerous heated pools within the resort that we all loved and the staff were really professional and willing to satisfy our needs. Great family holiday.
